He also surpassed Virat Kohli as the leading run-scorer in T20Is, with 3,159 runs. Rohit played a captain’s knock, as he scored an unbeaten 121 runs off 69 balls. He hit eight sixes and 11 fours and displayed his class and power. He was awarded the Man of the Match and the Man of the series for his brilliant performance.

Rinku’s quick fifty

Rinku Singh also impressed with his batting, as he scored his second fifty in T20 International cricket. He completed his fifty in 36 balls and played an unbeaten inning of 69 runs off 39 balls. He hit six sixes and two fours and supported Rohit Sharma well. He showed his talent and temperament, as he handled the pressure of a big chase. He also played some innovative shots and entertained the crowd with his stroke play. He was the perfect partner for Rohit Sharma, as they took India to a big total.
